One QR printed in five places produces one combined scan history. To compare a leaflet, a counter sign, and a poster, create three QR records. They can all point to the same destination. Clear names let you identify placements in your dashboard and exports without relying on long, complicated destination links.
A scan is a visit to the redirect link that is recorded successfully. It is not a unique person, a completed purchase, or proof that someone read the destination. Some link-preview robots are excluded, and abuse controls can suppress repeated traffic. Ad blockers, network failures, and asynchronous recording can also affect counts.
PrintOnceQR does not store raw IP addresses in scan events. It records a broad device category, browser, operating system, referrer hostname, and a country when the hosting network provides one. Detailed events are retained for 90 days and collected within your plan’s monthly scan allowance. Daily totals continue when detailed collection pauses.
For a campaign, you can add UTM parameters to the destination URL before saving it. Your website analytics can then measure actions after the redirect, subject to your own tracking and consent setup. Keep that analysis separate from QR visit counts. Pro CSV exports help compare scan dates and placements with your campaign calendar.
Pro includes CSV exports for selected dates and QR codes. Each export supports up to 100,000 detailed events; use shorter date ranges for larger histories.
Detailed collection stops at the monthly allowance and events expire after 90 days. Aggregate daily counts continue, so the two views can legitimately differ.
